During the initial intake, ask clients whether they view this massage as a special treat or if they're interested in regular sessions. This simple inquiry can provide valuable insight into their mindset and goals. If they express interest in ongoing care, take the opportunity to discuss the numerous benefits of consistent massage therapy, such as improved muscle function, stress reduction, and enhanced overall wellness. Educating clients on these advantages right from the start can help frame their experience and establish a foundation for future appointments.


Encourage Goal Setting

You might also encourage clients to set specific goals for their massage therapy journey. Ask them what they hope to achieve through regular visits, whether it's pain relief, relaxation, or improved athletic performance. This not only gives you insight into their needs but also fosters a sense of commitment. When clients have clear objectives, they are more likely to see the value in returning regularly to achieve those goals.
