Thai Elements: Supine & Prone Table Techniques

Thai Elements: Supine & Prone Table Techniques

7 NCBTMB APPROVED HOURS Learn basic Thai massage techniques and Thai energy line technology that can easily be incorporated into a traditional or therapeutic table massage.

  • DETAILS

In this one day course students will learn basic Thai massage techniques and Thai energy line technology that can easily be incorporated into a traditional Swedish or therapeutic table massage. Thai massage techniques give massage therapists access to another way of working with the body, incorporating stretching and moving the joints, opening up energy pathways, and releasing long held tension patterns. For the client Thai massage helps cultivate mind/body connection, deep relaxation, and pathways for the body to heal itself. For the therapist, Thai massage can help lighten the burden on overused hand and arm muscles, broaden the variety of techniques in one's toolbox for each client, and give therapists a new marketable skill.

The method I have studied focuses on finding a more natural alignment through myofascial manipulation and muscle release techniques.

Fascia is the layer of connective tissue that surrounds all the muscles, joints, and organs in your body. Healthy fascia is a crucial factor in improving the whole horse.

Equine massage has been known to:

Improve posture.

Promote more efficient movement, which lowers risk of injury.

Relieve discomfort.

Improve circulation.

Relieve stress.

Improve digestion.

Improve problem issues with saddling and tacking.
