Ethics: Boundaries for Self Care Nov 5

3 HOURS NCBTMB APPROVED ETHICS HOURS.

Nov 5, 2025 at Relax Massage Therapy & Skincare in Wilmington, NC

10:00am - 1:00pm

What are boundaries and self-care?

Boundaries are limits you set to protect your well-being, and self-care is how you take care of yourself. Setting boundaries is a form of self-care that can help you build trust and respect in relationships.

How do I set boundaries?

You can set boundaries by stating your feelings, managing your schedule, and communicating when someone crosses a boundary.

How can having healthy boundaries influence how you take the best possible care of yourself as well as your clients?

In this course we will discuss the key elements of healthy boundaries and how to implement them into your healing arts practice and life.

Healthy boundaries are the key to your own self-care as well at the ethical treatment of your clients.

Fascia is the layer of connective tissue that surrounds all the muscles, joints, and organs in your body. Healthy fascia is a crucial factor in improving the whole horse.

Equine massage has been known to:

Improve posture.

Promote more efficient movement, which lowers risk of injury.

Relieve discomfort.

Improve circulation.

Relieve stress.
